The Project.

This beauty-fashion film was a focused, one-day production with a streamlined crew. Our mission: capture six striking make-up looks—each one showcasing bold styling, strong poses, and an energetic edit—in just a few hours.

To bring director Martin Gruja’s vision to life, we designed “sweeping lights” and rapid light switches. A handful of Aputure fixtures were pre-programmed in the Aputure app, letting us jump between lighting setups at the tap of a button. That precision allowed every snap of light to sync perfectly with the models’ poses and the beat of the music.

Most shots were locked off on a tripod, supplemented by a few handheld concept and insert shots to inject movement. The lean setup kept us fast and controlled, ensuring all six looks were filmed on schedule. In post-production we pushed a rhythmic edit and expressive grading to amplify the film’s high-energy character.
